Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Mitchell and Dolores Mitchell (Lowe); and his brothers, Ronnie and Bobby. He is survived by: his children, Rick (Barb), Colleen Mazey, Mike (Kelly), Kevin (Theresa) and Gary; and his sisters, Shirley and Penny. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
