He is survived by: his children, Kelly Goodwin (James) of Minerva, Kasie Wilks of Alliance and Jason Ackerman (Cristina) of Carrollton; his close friend Glenda Hudson; his brother Robert Ackerman of Malvern; and his grandchildren, Tavin Knipl, Tyler Shirley, Logan Ackerman, Jaiden Koontz, James Goodwin Jr., Jacob Wilks, Dalton Ackerman, Maci, Kaileen Ackerman and Brittany Wilks. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home, Inc. (206 E Lincolnway, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
