He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Joseph Piller Sr. and Dorothy Gomel; and his sisters, Dorothy Wade and MaryAnn Bacalini. He is survived by: his siblings, James Piller, Thomas Piller, Steven Piller, Lawrence Piller and Marybeth Piller; his wife Patricia Piller (Keough); his children, Susan, Gerard, Marylou Stumpf (Bill) and Kevin (Concetta); and his grandchildren, Jesse, Denise, Alexis, Katie, Bridget, Ryan, Ida, Joseph, James, Michael, Gianna and Charly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Lucy Catholic Church (3510 S Ocean Blvd, Highland Beach, FL 33487). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the South Florida Va National Cemetery (6501 FL-7, Lake Worth, FL 33467).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in his memory.
